Prep Your Manuscript
If you are planning on sending part of or your whole manuscript out with your query letter, make sure your manuscript is in perfect condition before sending it out. One of the things that may turn off agents, editors or publishing houses is mistake in the first few pages. It will may stop them reading right in their tracks.
The longer the piece the more time you will probably send editing it. A novel will need more time on the editing process.
Some agents will request synopsis of longer pieces beforing even requesting a manuscript. Also, always check with agency to see how they perfer receiving materials.

It has been awhile since I updated my blog and I have a few book reviews I have to do.
Annihilation by Philip Athans
Menzoberranzan fights to survive the onslaught of attacks by multiple underdark races. There is an evolution in Gromph Baenre and he battles the Lich Drown for control over the city.
Our dwindling expedition of heros travel the multiverse in search of Loth in the Demonweb Pits. But things are quickly falling apart. Battle for control of the group and the stress of a lost goddess push them to the edge.
This book was well written and there are some unexpected losses you’ll have to read to believe.
